Tax Filing for Businesses is Easier with Digital Signatures

The government has established Minister of Finance Regulation Number 63/PMK.03/2021 regarding implementing Tax Rights and Obligations and issuing, Signing, and Delivery of Tax Decisions or Tax Assessments Electronically. One of the regulations governs the use of digital signatures for electronic documents.

At the VIDA Expert Seat event: Unlocking The Benefits of Digital Signature for Taxpayer in Jakarta (20/3), Agus Sudiasmoro, Head of the Sub-Directorate for Tax Support System Development at the Directorate General of Taxation, Ministry of Finance, appreciated VIDA's initiative as a Certificate Authority (CA) actively assisting the government's tax digital transformation program. "We are currently transforming towards tax administration 3.0 era with the implementation of the new Core Tax Administration System next year, which will integrate with third-party systems, one of which is the electronic certificate system owned by CA. CA, such as VIDA, has been appointed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to provide electronic certificates so taxpayers can use electronic certificates from CA. Therefore, we are very grateful because VIDA and several other CAs have pioneered electronic certificates for tax services."

 

To use VIDA Sign in the tax reporting system; businesses can find more information on VIDA's social media on Instagram @vidadigitalid or at www.vida.id. Registered companies can simply use the e-Bupot and e-Faktur applications and select VIDA as the trusted digital signature provider.
