VIDA and XL Axiata Business Solutions Team Up on Digital Transformation of Business Players

Indonesia Digital Identity (VIDA) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) provide digital signature service solutions for corporations and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)

Jakarta, 21 July 2023 – PT Indonesia Digital Identity (VIDA) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) provide digital signature service solutions for corporations and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by incorporating the VIDA Sign Platform into the XL Axiata Business Solution packages. This is an initiative to spur digital transformation and improve business operational efficiency, leading to a paperless workplace.

“The collaboration between VIDA and XL Axiata Business Solutions demonstrates our commitment to building trust in the digital era, where secure and verified digital identities are the key. Through the VIDA Sign Platform developed by VIDA Digital Identity, business workflows become more efficient with digitally signed documents that ensure security, eliminating the need for physical documents,” said Sati Rasuanto, Co-Founder and President of VIDA.

As we enter the post-pandemic era, digital acceleration becomes a priority for businesses, and one indication is the use of digital signatures. The connection solution built by XL Axiata Business Solution to serve corporate and SME customers is enhanced with the assistance of VIDA's solutions. Now, business players - both existing and prospective XL Axiata Business Solution clients - can use digital documents in their operations comfortably and securely, as these can be legally and securely signed.

Feby Sallyanto, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of PT XL Axiata Tbk, said, "For the first time in Indonesia, a telecommunications or Information & Communication Technology (ICT) company is offering a solution that includes document security and identity verification. XL Axiata Business Solutions, as a partner providing integrated ICT services, is introducing the product bundling XL BIZ VIDA to provide added value to businesses and their end customers.”

“With BIZ VIDA, corporations that traditionally use paper for approval documents might reduce their paper usage. We believe this solution can help firms embrace Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. XL Axiata is currently concentrating on integrating ESG across all of its business lines," Feby said.

VIDA has been offering identity verification, digital signatures, and strong authentication services for businesses and individuals since 2018. On the other hand, XL Axiata Business Solutions provides full information technology and communication solutions and services for businesses. The two firms' strategic partnership is built on a common vision of driving integrated digital experiences and sustainable growth for corporations and SMEs in Indonesia.

“We hope to create a seamless, trusted, secure, efficient, and inclusive digital identity system so that no one is left behind in the digital revolution,” Sati concluded.
